M.E. Rallysport Showground Stages 2026

The M.E. Rallysport Showground Stages kicked off the Welsh rally season at the Royal Welsh Showground on 17th January, organised by Newtown & District Automobile Club. Competitors tackled five stages run twice across the day, covering a total of 43.19km. Dan Evans and Karolina Griffiths took overall victory in their Vauxhall Nova, finishing ahead of Dylan James Davies and Llion Williams in a Ford Escort Mk2, with Joseph Palmer and Steve McPhee rounding out the podium in a Nissan Micra. The event also featured a Cross Car competition and recognised awards for the highest FWD finisher, best under-26 driver and most spirited crew. A well-run, spectator-friendly occasion that continues to serve as a strong platform for grassroots rallying in Wales.
